Must have Mustard

Hello! :) A quick fun post of what I wore to my friend’s birthday dinner last night! Great food and great people, makes a great night!





I am in love with these mustard shoes I bought a couple of weeks ago, they are super comfy and cute to boot! Can you believe they were only $25!!!

Autumn Wish List 2012

This upcoming Autumn I’ve been crushing on SOOO many things in stores! Here is my current top eight wants!

1.       Mustard Coloured Dress

Totally the colour of the season! No other words needed!

Right now these colours are everywhere in clothing and I want to jump on the band wagon with something in one these gorgeous colours. I’d most like to own burgundy jeans!

Every shop I go into lately I’ve been finding beautiful knits! I particularly want one in a bright colour!

5.       Black Mary Jane Platforms

Since writing this wish list I can happily say I bought some from Topshop! You don’t understand how excited I am to wear them this weekend! They are SUPER HIGH and might kill me, but all in the name of fashion!

To be honest I’ve never really liked low heeled shoes, but since starting uni I’ve been dreaming about these black suede flatforms! They would go with absolutely everything!

I saw one in the window of a store and just instantly fell in love! Pop on some red lippy and va va voom!

DIY: Scarf Top

Sorry for the lack of posts lately (Mikaela!) but I’ve been totally swamped working and now starting uni! But I will promise to try and post more regularly! 

So a couple of weeks ago I was rummaging through my wardrobe trying to find a top to wear, and I wasn’t finding anything I felt like wearing! So I took a chance and wore a scarf as a top! It’s all about how you work it and wear it with confidence! To be honest my friends were a little surprised I was wearing a scarf as a top! :)

Here’s how you can try this too

Start with your scarf

I actually do not have the slightest clue how to explain this!
Hopefully by looking at the pictures you can sort of work out how to DIY this look..

FRONT

You basically take the ends of the scarf and tie them around your neck.. To ultimately rock this, pair with a tight skirt or skinny jeans, tie your hair up and get ready to wow everyone with a totally unique look!

BACK

You need to wear one of those bandeau tops underneath! :)

Here's another DIY Scarf Top alternative (this is actually the style I wore out)
FRONT

With this style you will need to wear a singlet underneath as the ends of the scarf are twisted around your singlet straps.


 

BACK

I wore this style with a jacket as I didn’t really like exposing the back. But however you want to wear it is up to you :)

Remember wear everything with confidence and you can never go wrong!
